#1 Hyundai
You really can’t go wrong with a Hyundai. This brand has fought hard over the last few years to create a stellar reputation in the British market. Nowadays, people view Hyundai cars with a massive air of positivity. To be fair, they’ve always been good at making cars, but their EV line has catapulted them to the very top of the game.

A few years ago, there was no way Renault would make this list. They’ve undergone a rapid transformation in recent years with an impressive array of new cars. You could opt for the Scenic or the Megane, both of which are beautifully designed, spacious on the inside and packed full of great tech.
You’re getting between 290 – 379 miles of range from these two cars, and yet that’s not why you should consider Renault. The brand has two small EVs releasing soon: the Renault 5 and the Renault 4. Both feature modern twists on classic car designs that look brilliant. They’re also great if you want a smaller EV for city driving – something not many brands do anymore.
